SOCRATES
PROGRAMME
Socrates is the European Programme for Education for the
years 2000 – 2006.
The first aim is to promote the education encouraging the
access of everybody to the education and in particular to
the study of the languages and the new technology.
The way to realize the aim is the transnational cooperation
realizable trough the planning of common projects, the mobility
of students, teachers, the study and the joint analysis
of the instruction system, the erupean training of theachers.
SOCRATES is open to the partecipation of:
- the fiftheen member states of European Union: Belgium,
Denmark, Germany, Greece, Spain, France, Ireland, Italy,
Lussemburgo, Dutch, Austria, Portugal, Finland, Sweden and
United Kingdom
- the countries of the European Economic Space: Island,
Liechtenstein, Norway;
the Countries candidates to the adhesion: Countries of center
and east Europe: Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary,
Lettonia, Lituania, Polonia, Rumenia, Slovakia and Slovenia;
Cyprus, Malta and, in a near future, Turkey.

COMENIUS
PROGRAMME
In the Socrates Programme, Comenius is the program for the
scholastic instruction for students of the high schools
that can benefit of agreements of collaboration between
institutes of at least three member States, and enter in
contact with students of other Countries. For information

LANGUAGE
PROGRAMME
It is a programme of instruction and learning of the languages
for students with less than 14 years old that can benefit
of exchanges for linguistic aim in the field of a plan in
which are involved the school of origin and that one of
an other Country.

It provides plans of education for adults and other educational
projects.
MINERVA
PROGRAMME
Ii is a open program of instruction: technologies of the
information and communication for the education. In order

LEONARDO
DA VINCI PROGRAMME
Is the action Program of the European Union that stimulates
the development and the improvement of the professional
formation in several European Countries.
REQUIREMENT FOR THE PARTICIPATION
It is necessary to have residence in Italy. Can participate
to the program also the Italian citizens resident in an
other European State, but only if this one joins the program.
The program addresses to:
- young people with less than 28 years. The program concurs
to realize an experience that can go on from a minimum of
three weeks to a maximum of nine months according to the
level of formation.
- To young people with less than 28 years with a professional
title: it is possible to carry out a training of job in
a company (for a period between three and twelve months)
in the working market of an other European State.
- To young university student : it is possible to work for
some months (minimal three, maximum twelve) in a company
of an other European State.
