DeutschlandRadio
offers two programmes, one of them with a focus on information
and news and the other focusing on culture and art. Deutschlandfunk
is the number one information programme in Germany, modern
and service-oriented.
DeutschlandRadio Berlin broadcasts a national metropolitan
programme specialising on culture.
On
both programmes DeutschlandRadio broadcasts weekly 2740
minutes of information programmes, including 795 minutes
of news covering. It broadcasts 38 features per month, 390
radio plays per year and 600 concerts (450 from Germany).
Since the beginning of EUROACTION, DeutschlandRadio is partner
of the network in order to encourage the listeners’
mobility and to spread information about the possibilities
the European Community offers for those who are interested
in working or studying abroad.
